Research Interests:
Dr. Davies is an otolaryngologist - head & neck surgeon - whose research focuses on cancer epidemiology and patient decision making for cancer treatments. Recent work includes publications on trends in the epidemiology of head and neck cancer, and the problem of overdiagnosis in thyroid cancer. She is currently investigating how patients make decisions for their cancer care, and developing studies to understand how patients become at risk of thyroid cancer overdiagnosis. When not doing research, Dr. Davies cares for veterans with head and neck cancer.
